Anchorly on a phone: today's quick log for Mom with sleep, meals, agitation and medications

Built for the family that shares the care

Three people, one Mom, one log

Dementia care is rarely one person. It is a daughter in the mornings, a son on weekends, a sitter on Tuesdays, a brother two states away who just wants to know how the week went. The handoff is where things get lost.

1

The daily caregiver

Logs the day in a tap on the phone: sleep, meals, toileting, wandering, agitation, how the day felt. Marks each dose given so nobody doubles it.

2

The weekend sibling

Opens the same log on a laptop with a one-time code. Reads what happened this week, adds Saturday's good moment, marks the evening medication.

3

The sitter or respite carer

Gets the calm card and life story before the first shift, in a browser, without installing anything. Knows what helps when the afternoon gets hard.

What the shared care log keeps

Everything the next carer needs to know

Dementia daily log

Today, in a tap

Sleep, meals, toileting, wandering, agitation (calm, restless, agitated) and how the day felt. Two people logging the same day write one entry.

Medication tracker

Doses given

Every medication with its dose and when it is due, and a Mark given tick for today. The phone reminds you at the chosen time.

Sundowning tracker

Hard moments, decoded

A hard moment is a trigger, a behavior and what helped, with the time it happened and how intense it was. Over weeks, a picture of the late afternoon forms.

Good moments

The day's bright spots

One line each: knew the dog's name, sang along to the radio, laughed at the old photo. Everyone reads them, newest first.

Life story

Who they are

About them, the stories that still land, the names that matter. A new carer reads it before the first shift.

Calm card

What helps

The short list for a hard moment: the song, the chair by the window, the photo album, the words that settle. Readable in any browser.

Open the family log in a browser

Not every helper wants another app

A brother, a neighbour or a weekend sitter can open the same log on a laptop or in any phone's browser. Nothing to install.

  1. Show a code on the phone that keeps the logSettings, then Share with family, then Show a code. Eight characters, one use, ten minutes.
  2. Open the web log and type itAt anchorly.adelyons.com/app, or tap the link the phone sends.
  3. Start loggingToday's entries, doses given and moments travel both ways every 30 seconds.

The life story and calm card are readable in the browser and edited on a phone. The browser never sees the caregiver's own check-ins or photos.

Private by design

A health log, kept like one

There is no account because there does not need to be one. Each phone and browser keeps a full copy. Changes travel encrypted through the Adelyons sync server so the others can fetch them, and nothing else is sent anywhere.

Each caregiver's own wellbeing check-in, the strain and stage check-ins, and photos stay on the phone they were made on. The phone that started sharing can delete the shared copy at any time; a copy nobody has opened for 180 days is deleted on its own. Read the privacy policy.

No sign-up

No email, no password, no contacts permission.

Encrypted in transit

Shared only among devices that joined with a code.

Yours to delete

The starting phone removes the shared copy in one tap.

Export any time

CSV of logs, moments and good moments; a full backup file.

Anchorly+ sundowning tracker: agitation by hour of the day with the late afternoon highlighted

Keep it on your phone

The browser shares the log. The phone carries the day.

Anchorly on a phone works offline, reminds, and keeps the parts of caregiving that are about you.

  • Works offline, in the car park and the care home basement
  • Medication reminders at the time each dose is due
  • Day picker to log yesterday when today got away
  • Dementia stage check-in once a month, laid out like the 7-stage FAST scale
  • Caregiver strain check-in and a daily check-in for you
  • Photos in the life story, backup and restore

Anchorly+ adds the sundowning curve by hour, what usually sets it off and what helps most, a weekly recap and a one-page care snapshot PDF for the doctor's visit.

Questions

Before you share the log

What is a shared dementia care log?

One daily record of how the person you care for is doing that every caregiver in the family can read and add to: sleep, meals, toileting, wandering, how agitated the day was, which medications were given, the good moments and the hard moments. In Anchorly it lives on each caregiver's phone and in any browser that joined with a code, so the Sunday sitter sees what Thursday's helper wrote.

How does a second caregiver join the family's log?

On the phone that already keeps the log, open Settings, then Share with family, then Show a code. The other helper scans it with their own phone, or types the same code at anchorly.adelyons.com/app in any browser. A code works once and for ten minutes.

Do we need accounts or email addresses?

No. Phones and browsers join with a one-time code. There is no sign-up, no email, no password and no contact-list permission.

What can I do in the browser?

Fill in today's log (sleep, meals, toileting, wandering, agitation and how the day felt), add good moments, mark medications given, log a hard moment as trigger, behavior and what helped, and read every logged moment, the life story and the calm card. The browser keeps nothing you did not share from the phone.

What does the phone app add?

Working offline, daily medication reminders, a day picker to log an earlier day, a monthly dementia stage check-in laid out like the 7-stage FAST scale, a caregiver strain check-in, a daily wellbeing check-in for you, photos in the life story, and backup and restore. Anchorly+ on the phone adds the sundowning curve, what sets it off and what helps, a weekly recap and a one-page care snapshot PDF.

Is Anchorly a sundowning tracker?

Yes. Every hard moment is logged with the time it happened, a trigger, the behavior and what helped. On the phone, Anchorly+ draws agitation by hour of the day with the late-afternoon sundowning hours marked, and ranks what usually sets it off and what helps most, from your own entries.

Can it track medications and doses for dementia?

Yes. Add each medication with its dose and when it is due; whoever is there taps Mark given, and everyone else sees it within half a minute, so nobody doubles a dose or wonders whether the evening one went in. The phone can remind you at the chosen time.

What stays private to each phone?

Each caregiver's own wellbeing check-in, the caregiver strain and stage check-ins, and photos never leave the phone they were made on. Only the log about the person you care for is shared.

Where is the shared log stored?

Each phone and browser keeps a full copy. Changes travel encrypted through the Adelyons sync server so the others can fetch them. The phone that started sharing can delete the shared copy at any time, and a copy nobody has used for 180 days is deleted automatically.

Is Anchorly free?

The daily log, medications and reminders, the hard-moment log, the life story and calm card, the stage and strain check-ins, CSV export, sharing with family and the web log are free with no card. Anchorly+ on the phone adds sundowning insights, a weekly recap, a care snapshot PDF, photos and more than one loved one.

Is this medical advice?

No. Anchorly organizes and shares what caregivers write down. It does not diagnose, predict or treat anything. Talk to a qualified healthcare professional about symptoms, medications and care decisions.

Steady days for them. Support for you.
